Do you wake up in the morning and wish you could just crawl back into bed? If so, chances are that you are not living with passion. I can tell you that you need to have a purpose and desire when you get up in the morning to be successful. To start up on the right foot, you need to create habits that will empower you in the future. Decide that you want to be happy – even more, that you deserve to be happy every single second of the day! Even if things don’t turn out the way you have planned, is it really the end of the world?
One of the key concepts in living in a state of passion, is to be physically fit. If you are not physically fit, chances are that you will have trouble being mentally fit. In fact, many people indulge in eating to get a change of state or feel good in the moment, but have not realized the pain they will have due to this habit later on.
Another key to living passionately, is to focus on things that will make you passionate. Things that you love! Don’t focus on things that will put you in a less than passionate state. Don’t focus on things you don’t want and negativity. There are always positive and negative things in life. We should focus on what is good and improve or change what is bad. A problem can only help you grow into a better, stronger person, so don’t look at problems in a negative sense. Many times a problem will weigh on people tremendously and create fear and failure. To be successful, we need to focus on the solutions to these problems most of the time and not focus on just the problem itself. Focusing in on just the problem will make you feel worse and waste time.
I want you to try something in steps…
1) Think about something you are truly passionate about (sports team, your child, a certain topic)
2) Talk to someone about that subject in a passionate way.
3) Notice how you feel (physically, mentally)
4) What about your physiology (body movements) is different from times when you are not passionate?
5) What were you focusing on when you were speaking that created the passion? Even if it was something negative that created your initial passion, were you just exposing a problem that needed to be solved?
I would love your feedback – comments are welcomed.
To me, passion is our personal energy meter, the higher it is the more we can accomplish and better we feel.
